Ginger towels are a precious help to restore the energy flows of a Human Being who is being affected by negative stresses such as:
- Any type of pain, including muscle or joint pain;
- Helps to recover from the flu;
- A cold or a discomfort are only accumulated, condensed, stagnant energies, and for this reason, they are in an imbalance flow;
- It stimulates the energetic flow of the subtle bodies and the vibrating chakra vortex.
Ginger should be used in food, teas, juices, baths or towels and is a great toxins’ eliminator (read more about the benefits of ginger here), but be careful because there are contraindications for pregnant women or while breastfeeding.
To prepare the ginger towels you should use:
- three white face towels folded twice in length;
- a plastic slightly larger than the width and length of your back;
- A pan with two liters of water;
- A wooden spoon;
- A tablespoon of ginger powder, or seven thin slices of ginger;
- Two tablespoons of sea salt;
Why these choices?
- The white color of the towels because it is a neutral color and also the potential of all colors. It captures by interaction the color of the energy that the person needs at that moment.
- The temperature of the water in the towels relaxes the muscles.
- As the best conductor of energy, the water, attracts and removes stagnant, accumulated energy besides the body toxins.
- Ginger and Salt give a new movement to energy flows already clean.
Put a pan on the heat with hot water and a tablespoon of ginger and two tablespoons of sea salt. When it’s boiling, turn off the heat and bring the pan to the sink.
Then, hold the first of the three medium towels, fold it vertically twice, and join the two ends in your hand. In the middle of the towel, place the handle of the wooden spoon so that it can be immersed in hot water without burning. Then lift the towel from the pan and start twisting it so that it keeps very hot, but only moistened. After twisting the three towels wrap them in the plastic and bring everything to the bedroom.
The person who will be taken care of with the Salt and Ginger towels should take a quick shower before applying the towels.
The towel option can take two forms:
- Alone – If the person is alone, she or he will put the plastic on the sheet and a little on the pillow. Place the two towels vertically (folding the ends to the side of the plastic) forming a V, in which at the base (at the end of the spine, next to the coccyx) there will be overlapping towels. The third towel is placed horizontally in the shoulder area. Then lie down on them and immediately cover yourself with the sheets. Bending and raising your knees is more comfortable. Close your eyes, unwind to the utmost, breathing slowly and deeply for 18 continuous times (first nine times and then another nine) to fully relax.
- For another person – The person who is going to be cared for, lies down on his stomach, so that the other person can put the towels on him or her. The first towel horizontally over the shoulders (crossed from shoulder to shoulder) and the other two vertically on the column (forms a V in which at the base, next to the coccyx, there will be an overlap of towels). Please note that cold ends should not come into contact with the body by turning them upwards. Then cover with the plastic to maintain the temperature and cover the person immediately with the sheets. Relax as much as possible and breathe slowly and deeply 18 times (first nine times and then another nine), to fully relax. Towels should be removed 30 minutes later, but if the person falls asleep, there is no problem. Rest and sleep, help up to 50% to 70% the recovery, as the vibrating vortex of subtle bodies and chakras work at other levels of reality.
On days of menstrual flow and with pain, a towel folded in its width, after being placed in hot water and ginger, should be placed over the lower belly of the woman lying on the back with her knees semi-flexed. The towel should be removed 15 minutes later, by which time you should start to feel the first benefits.
