Lemon Balm grows in clumps in gardens and around them in Southern Europe, up to 1000m altitude. The Arabs of the 10th century used it as a remedy for melancholy. Lemon Balm is used in the Chartreuse (french liquor), claiming the title of “Elixir of Health”. Lemon Balm is an excellent plant to support digestion. It helps fight the spleen, melancholy. We distill it at the end of the summer season when it is the richest in essential oil, accumulated throughout the summer.

Diffuser by misting: a few drops in the water
Diffuser by nebulization: pure or mixed with other oils
Skin use: Applied locally diluted in base oil (30% essential oil and 70% base oil)
