How to prepare a good infusion?

The leaves or flowers of a plant, whether dry or alive, form with water the secret base of a good infusion for rebalancing or pure pleasure.

The plant choice should preferably be from biological production, to ensure that its properties and vibratory energy are really the best and have not been manipulated or modified by pesticides. You should also look for plants that have not been genetically modified.

Avoid leaf and flower bags, as industrial processing, after various crushing and preserving products, deprives you of many properties offered by the plant. In addition, the bags contain chemicals and materials harmful to health.

The choice of water must be due to its mineral quality and must be as neutral as possible or with a pH greater than 7.5. If you choose tap water, start boiling for five minutes, because we never know for sure what kind of toxic products are placed there. Only after cooling to 90°C should the water be used for infusion.

Depending on where and when we are, we should select the most appropriate plant for what we think or see as the best way to help us overcome a certain imbalance.

The amount of leaves or flowers to use depends on the type of plant chosen and the volume of water, but it is generally recommended to use up to two teaspoons of leaves or flowers for a cup of water if they are dried. For leaves and live flowers, that is, in their natural state, the portion will tend to be higher.

To make this infusion, you must first place the selected plant in a teapot with a little cold water for a few minutes so that the chlorophyll, as well as its full potential in energy and vibration, can be activated.

The water should be heated in a kettle or a coffee maker, but the temperature should not exceed 90°C. The water for the infusion should not boil, because too high temperature eliminates the oxygen of the water, cancels some properties of the plant and makes even bitter the taste of infusion of some plants.

The hot water is then poured into the teapot or another container where the plant has been previously soaked in cold water. The infusion time varies from one plant to another, but it reaches on average 10 minutes, even 15 minutes in some cases. It is also not recommended to move the plant during its infusion.

During the infusion period, take the time to breathe calmly and deeply, as well as to thank the plant for the generosity of its properties that will restore the balance of your Body, Soul, and even Spirit, or just it will give you pleasure by drinking it.

However, there are certain plants where the option falls on the stems, roots or bark – for example, cinnamon or ginger – then we make a decoction. This operation consists in boiling the parts of the plant for more than 10 minutes to obtain the properties and the potential of the vibrating energy available. Also in this case, first immerse the stem, root or bark in the cold water for a few minutes, only then put it on the fire until it boils.

The infusion should be lukewarm and not too hot to avoid damage to the body, some of which may even cause degenerative diseases of the thyroid, esophagus, and stomach. For example, in southern Brazil, in the Rio Grande do Sul region, it is traditional to consume the infusion of hot Yerba mate. Coincidence or not, many people have imbalances in the digestive tract.

Both Infusion and Decoction should be drunk lukewarm, according to the taste of each person and preferably in their natural state. If you are considering a bitter drink, choose to add some honey or brown sugar.

Drink and feel the pleasure of the infusion chosen and do not forget to thank the generosity that the plant has provided you.
