The white flower of yarrow, clearly visible on our banks, is distilled at the end of flowering, in August.
Yarrow is hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, depurative, emmenagogue, febrifuge, and anti-allergic.
Picking and distillation are always full of questions as its yield can be low, close to that of the rose! But if its oil is often scarce, fortunately, hydrosol is no less precious. Presence of mono and sesquiterpenes, camphor, and cineole.
