Avocado consumption helps to balance the human body

The avocado tree is an imposing tree, it can reach 20 meters in height and its trunk is embraced by brownish branches, covered by aromatic leaves of a dark green tone that offer, once a year, a real gem called Avocado. There are, however, countries in Latin America where the climate allows for more than one annual production.

The avocado owns a consistent, thick, creamy pulp, with a yellowish-green coloring, enveloping a spherical and hard seed with 3 to 5 cm in diameter. The size of the avocado, its shape, color, weight, and bark (thin or thick) differs depending on the variety and there are more than 500 worldwide.

The average weight of each avocado differs between 150 and 500 grams, the color of the bark varies from green, dark red, black or purplish.

It is considered a superfood [high nutritional power with great health benefits]. Why? Because regular consumption of avocado helps our body’s cells to balance:

  • immunity system,
  • blood circulation,
  • cholesterol,
  • heart attacks,
  • degenerative diseases,
  • digestive disorders,
  • constipation,
  • the flu,
  • rheumatism,
  • skin changes,
  • bone fractures,
  • among other situations.

Benefits that result from the high nutrient content (more than 20 vitamins and minerals), healthy fats such as omega 6 and 3, and antioxidants. However, the consumption should be done moderately, as an avocado has a high-calorie content. It is therefore recommended that each person consumes it according to their internal need and daily or seasonal will.
