(Mentha Peperita) (FR) Menthe poivrée (EN) Peppermint

Peppermint is a perennial plant about 80 cm tall, widely distributed in Europe and Asia, especially at low altitudes. In ancient times, the Chinese praised the soothing and antispasmodic properties of Mint. Hippocrates considered them to be aphrodisiacs and Pliny appreciated their analgesic action. Today, Mint is, with Lemon Verbena and Lemon, one of the imperial herbal teas at the end of the meal. All Mints have more or less the same properties.

The essential oils made by Essenciagua are organic, 100% pure, and natural. Their production is carried out in France from fresh plants from organic farming, duly certified, and the distillation process is carried out using an artisanal method, slowly, at low vapor pressure, and at reduced temperature. This is one of the secrets to guaranteeing the most fragile components of the plant and all the complex richness it offers.

These oils being 100% pure, a few drops are enough to obtain the properties and active ingredients of the chosen plant. Essential oils can be diluted in base oils.
