Gaultheria is a small creeping sub-shrub of less than 15 cm, with glossy dark green foliage, which is adorned with solitary white flowers or in small clusters in summer. They are followed by aromatic, scarlet fruits, often persisting until spring. Originally from cold regions, Gaultheria provides a hot essential oil, by its smell, and it will have a warming action on the body and on the emotional level. It also has the very characteristic odor of balms used in the field of sports medicine.

The essential oils made by Essenciagua are organic, 100% pure, and natural. Their production is carried out in France from fresh plants from organic farming, duly certified, and the distillation process is carried out using an artisanal method, slowly, at low vapor pressure, and at reduced temperature.
